Creative Worship Arts
A/V/L Technician – There’s room for you in the best seat in the house – our Audio Video and Lighting booth! We have state of the art equipment and a world-class set up. Familiarity with computers and awareness of basic technology is helpful. But we can easily teach anyone – of practically any skill level – all of the specific duties and functions of our team.  (The ideal qualities we look for are  attention to detail, and a willingness to serve.) On average, our AVL techs serve one Sunday a month.

Vocalists, Musicians, Artists – We want to connect with creative people in our community. We are always on the lookout for vocalists, musicians and artists. If you play an instrument, sing, paint, sculpt or design – let’s talk. Out most immediate need is for keyboard players.

Hospitality
Door Greeters – We want everyone to feel welcome at Blue Grass Church. Our greeters are the first to welcome visitors and long-time members alike, making them feel like they’ve found a home for their hearts.

Communion Server – Be part of a rotation that helps serve Communion during worship. We generally celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of every month.

Outside Hospitality Team – Be available to provide hospitality care for rentals and other outside events that make use of our campus.

Welcome Desk – Help folks get where they’re going! The Welcome Desk is the place to turn on Sunday mornings when you’re looking for information. We’re looking for helpful people to fill this important post.

Café Worker –  Help keep our congregation caffeinated! We’ll teach you the skills you need to be a great barista.

Children’s Ministry
Teachers/Assistants for 9:30 and 10:50am BG Kids Sunday School – Help our next generation grow in the faith! Materials and lessons will be provided.

Nursery Workers – Be part of our team that provides childcare on Sunday mornings and at various times during the week.

Children’s Choir Assistants – Be part of this group that coordinates various children’s choir performances, including our Spring and Christmas Musicals!

Help once a week to prep lessons for BG Kids – Help get materials ready for Sunday morning so the teachers have everything they need to take care of our kids!

Club 456 Assistants for class and special events – Do you have a heart for preteens? Be part of this team that is looking for energetic adults to help these kids experience the joy of the Lord!
